Some tough luck for Pops….

By September 12, 2013No Comments

The heat and humidity we had a plan for… Dad’s back totally going Nuclear we did not. We made it back on the water for about 30 minutes tonight. Dad had been icing and using the Icy Hot patch for the past 24 hours or so. It really helped and can only hope it continues to get better as Mom and him start on their journey back home. Dad’s last fish caught here on this trip was a dang cat… Go figure eh? and speaking of cat, I forgot to mention that I caught a HUGE one on a 10 in. power worm Saturday. Check out the pic below. Dad has a much anticipated hunt out West here in about 2 weeks. I sure hope his back can get right in time.

The fishing on Falcon right now is pretty good in my opinion and is as good as you will find anywhere in the great US of A currently. That last statement is of course my opinion. As we start to shift gears to fall and eventually winter, I look for some great days on the water with a lot of BIG fish being caught. I also see some tough days on the water forth coming as well. Basically… sounds like fishing doesn’t it?
